EPIK, English Program in Korea, sponsored by the Korean Ministry of Education, invites responsible, enthusiastic native English speakers to build a professional teaching career while sharing knowledge and culture with students and teachers in Korea.

◆ Positions : 401 teachers for September 2008 placement

◆ Applicants must:
- Hold a minimum of Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- Be a citizen from a country where the primary language is English.
- Be fluent and proficient in the English language grammar and structure and be able to communicate fluently with clear and distinct pronunciation.

◆ Remuneration
Level 3 : 1.8 ~ 2.25 million won per month ($1,900 ~ $2,400)
Level 2 : 2.0 ~ 2.35 million won per month ($2,100 ~ $2,500)
Level 2+: 2.1 ~ 2.45 million won per month ($2,200 ~ $2,600)
Level 1 : 2.3 ~ 2.65 million won per month ($2,400 ~ $2,800)
Level 1+ : 2.5 ~ 2.85 million won per month ($2,600 ~ $3,000)

◆ Hours : Teaching hours 22 hours/week

◆ Benefits

- Settlement allowance
- Airfare Reimbursement to and from Korea
- Severance pay
- Paid vacation for 14 work days
- 50% of medical insurance and pension
- Tax Exemption
- Provincial allowance, special rural allowance, etc.
