The Korean Education Centre, located in the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the UK, was founded in 1981 and has been successfully providing and promoting education about Korean language, history, and culture for Koreans residing in the UK.
The Centre engages in various tasks such as supporting Korean schools and international students, offering Korean language classes both outside and in public school curricula.
In addition, the Centre evaluates and recommends recipients for Global Korea Scholarship(GKS) and organizes the Test of Proficiency in Korean(TOPIK).
