APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS FOR THE YEAR 2014
1. Eligibility
a. Students must be either currently enrolled in middle school or middle school graduates.
b. Students must demonstrate excellent ability or high potential in the fields of mathematics and science.
c. Students must be capable of communication in Korean or English.
d. Students must have nationality other than Korean (those who have Korean nationality are not eligible.)
2. Number of Students to be Selected: About Fifteen
3. Admissions Procedures:
KSA would like to select students who exhibit outstanding capability or potential in the fields of mathematics and science. KSA applies a two stage process in order to identify those students such as document evaluation, math and science test, and interview. KSA selects a limited number of applicants at each selection stage through multiple assessments including the evaluation of documents submitted by the applicants and the applicant's potential in mathematics and science.

※ The dates above may change according to school circumstances.
※ The Mathematics and Science Test, Interview will be given to those applicants who pass the 1st stage.
※ No application fee
5. On-line Education for the Applicants Admitted:
a. Information about “On-line program” for the Applicants Admitted will be announced on the admissions website.
b. On-line program includes basic Korean, Mathematics, and Science.
c. The applicant admitted must enroll during the registration period.
6. Privileges
a. Room and board will be provided free of charge.
b. Most KSA programs are offered free, including Research and Education, High-school Research Program at KAIST, International Academic Exchange Programs, and Textbooks for required courses, etc.
※ The provisions above may be changed according to school policy.
7. Expenses
a. Tuition fees, textbooks for elective courses, personal and flight expenses should be covered privately.
b. Uniforms, leadership activities, laundry, reentry visa, and etc, cost about 4,500 USD for three years.
※ Tuition fees can be waived for those students who show outstanding academic performance at KSA, according to the school’s regulations.
8. Important Reminder:
Giving false information will make the applicant ineligible for admissions to KSA or subject to cancellation of registration.
