2020 Student Essay Competition 'Peace In Korea'
Korea has been divided since the end of World War II and this division has been a flashpoint of various global conflicts. We invite you to share your thoughts on how Korea can become one nation again and the impact that reunification could have on global geo-politics.
The goal of this programme is to provide a chance for you to review the historical relationship between South Korea, North Korea and other countries, also to think about how to build peaceful relationship between South and North Korea and its influences on global societies.
This essay competition is being organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and the National Unification Advisory Council (NUAC*).
* The NUAC is the constitutional organization to advise the President of South Korea on the formulation of peaceful unification policy.
