Result Announcement

It is our pleasure to announce the winners of the 2020 Hangeul and Korean Culture Essay Competition. We sincerely thank all entrants for their valuable and creative writings.

The Winner of the First Prize is the entry by “Zehra Hasan”, entitled “Hangeul and Equality in Education”.

The Winners of the Gold Award are the entries by “Liepa Lennie”, entitled “General & personal impact of King Sejong’s invention of Hangeul” and by “Benjamin Coombs”, entitled “The Transcontinental Nature of Korean Food Words”.

The Winners of the Silver Award are the entries by “Laurie Wright”, entitled “Hangeul and the Korean language”, by “Sung-Min Katie Choi”, entitled “Time Travelling with Hangeul” and by “Ellie Apostolidi”, entitled “My experience with the Summer Special Korean Class Webinar”.
