2018 Korean Government Scholarship Alumni Invitation Programme

○ Program Period:  25th November ~ 2nd December  2018 (8 days and 7 nights)

○ Application Period:  19th September ~ 8th October 2018

○ Number of Participants:  20 GKS alumni from around the world

○ How to Apply:  Please fill in the following forms and send the scanned PDF documents by email to educentre@mofa.go.kr.

    1) Application Form   2) Pledge   3) Passport Copy (photo page, PDF format)

○ Program Details (Subject to change): presentations, workshops, industry visits, cultural activities, self-planned visits and more

○ Benefits:

  1)  An economy class round-trip air ticket

  2) Expenses related to the program, including accommodation, meals and daily activity fees

Attention! Participants must bear the following costs by themselves: the transportation expenses incurred in the invitee’s country, visa application fees, and all other personal expenses not related to the invitation program.

○ Presentation on Post-GKS Career Development

All participants will make a presentation on their activities after GKS. Please submit the presentation materials according to the guideline attached.

○ Self-Planned Visits

Participants will be given two days for their own visits and activities during the program period.

Participants are advised to plan their own visits and to arrange accommodation/meals for the two days. (Example: Visiting a participant’s alma mater).

Participants will receive a certain amount of financial support to cover the expenses for accommodation, food, and transportation
