Announcement
Korean Education Centre and Kennet School Signed the MOU (22 September 2016)
Head teacher Mr Dick, Education Director Mr Kim
Korean Education Centre and Kennet School(http://www.kennetschool.co.uk) located in Thatcham, Berkshire signed the MOU(Memorandum of Understanding), and agreed to promote Korean language programmes in the school. The school will open a Korean class to around 15 secondary students on every Wednesday from this September to the year 2018.
P G Dick, Head Teacher and Michael Naish, Head of International Office welcomed this programme supported by Korean Government with great expectation. They hoped many pupils interested in Korean drama, movie and music will have great opportunities to learn Korean language and culture. The school also mentioned outstanding students would take part in the class, and they would be celebrated at a graduation ceremony after 1 year.
Kennet School is the fourth new school signed the MOU in 2016. This MOU values more, as Korean language programmes have been concentrated in London. And Kennet School is the first school signed the MOU in other regions.
Korean Education Centre will make every effort to cooperate with educators until Korean becomes a regular course in the UK.
