Required Documents for the Application


1. An image file of your photo


  • jpg file, 200KB (354*472pixel)

  • Your photo will be displayed on your report. It must meet the UK passport photo standards. Otherwise, your photo will be rejected.

  • A photo of your upper body on a plain background taken with a smartphone is also acceptable.

  • Please do not submit the front page of your passport or id. This should be the photo of yourself, not the document.

2. A proof of your test fee payment


  • A captured or downloaded payment confirmation screen(image/PDF file)

  • Test Fees: TOPIK I £40.00 / TOPIK II £55.00

▶ Special Exam Arrangements


If you would like to apply for special exam arrangements, you should submit the 'Application Form for Special Services for Disabled Applicants' AND a certification of disability OR doctor's written diagnosis after submitting the TOPIK online application.

Please leave the 'Registration Number' section empty on the form.


The application forms and documents should be submitted by email at educentre@mofa.go.kr  no later than the 23rd July. Late applications will not be considered.


Please note that the requested special arrangements are not guaranteed as it will be considered by the TOPIK head office under the international TOPIK policy.


▶ Cancellation


We will notify you by email and announce on our website if the exam is going to be cancelled due to COVID-19, in which case your fee will be fully refunded.


If you cancel your exam due to personal circumstances, 40% of your test fee will be refunded, only if requested by the 8th October via email at educentre@mofa.go.kr.


 


▶ COVID-19 Safety Measures


We would like to reassure you that we have implemented additional health and safety measures in line with Covid-19 government regulations, to be able to still offer TOPIK while keeping our candidates and staff safe. We have implemented the following measures at our test centres :


  • A negative Covid-19 test result will be submitted by all candidates and venue staff.

  • All venues will be thoroughly cleaned prior to the start of all tests.

  •  Social distancing rules will apply during your time at the test venue.

  • Hand sanitiser and antibacterial wipes will be available, at the registration desk, in all the test rooms and any public areas.

  •  Masks/face coverings will be worn by all candidates and venue staff.

  • QR code scanning at entry, with NHS track and trace app.

  • Temperature checking at entry


Please do not attend your test if you:


  • are in self-quarantine

  • have been in contact with any person suspected of having been exposed to Covid-19

  • have a cold, fever, are short of breath or have flu-like symptoms

If you live in an area that is currently under Covid-19 travel restrictions, please refer to the guidance on the government website before travelling to your test.


 


▶ Exam process


[Before Attending the TOPIK]


1. Print out your Identification Slip


You will receive your identification slip and venue information in early October to the email address you have provided. Two printed copies of your Identification slip will be required. Submit one copy on your arrival and keep the other with you to be admitted to the exam room. 


If you have not received the email until the 8th October, please contact us immediately by sending an email to educentre@mofa.go.kr.


2. Arrange a COVID-19 Test


You must take a Covid-19 Test and submit a printed copy of the negative test result upon your arrival. You may choose either PCR or Lateral Flow Test :


- Lateral Flow Test : You must get tested on Friday 15th October. You can visit the test centre or self-test as long as you report your result to NHS and get a result notification email in order to submit.

- PCR test : If you opt to take a PCR test, you must get tested on Thursday 14th or on Friday 15th October.


Please note that you cannot enter the building without a negative Covid-19 test result.


3. Print and sign the COVID-19 Declaration Form


Please download and print out attached the COVID-19 Declaration Form and sign to submit on your arrival.


 


[On Your Arrival]


1. Entry


Please aim to arrive at 8:30–9:00 (TOPIK I)/ 11:40–12:10 (TOPIK II) and stay outside of the college gate until allowed. Please do not enter the building without Covid-19 safety checks.


2. Face Covering


Bring a mask or face covering with you on the day of your test. If you do not have a mask or face covering, we will be able to provide a disposable one at the entrance.


3. Temperature check


Staff will check your temperature. Please note that you cannot enter the building if your temperature is 37.8C or higher.


4. Sanitise your hands


Sanitise your hands with the sanitising gel provided.


5. Submit printed forms


Submit your identification slip, test result and COVID-19 declaration form.


6. QR code scanning


Scan the QR Code on the poster at the entrance with NHS track and trace app. Please download the app before arrival at https://covid19.nhs.uk/.




[Exam Room]


1. ID Check


Present your ID (Passport or driver's license)


- Your ID should include your full name, date of birth and photo.

- You will be requested to remove your face covering for ID checks.


2. Sanitise your hands


Sanitise your hands before entering the room.


3. Wear a mask at all times


4. No electronic device allowed


You cannot possess any type of electronic devices during the exam including mobile phone, ipad, laptop, and smart watches. We will collect them all in the exam room before the exam starts and return them to you after the exam.


5. No food no drink allowed in the room


6. Equipment and stationery


Stationery(a specially designed pen for TOPIK) for the test will be provided. However, you will need to bring your own correction tape (eg.Tipp-Ex).


7. Toilet


Toilets are available, however, you cannot go to the toilet once the exam has started.


 


▶ Exam Results and Score Report


  • The result will be released on Thursday 25 November 2021.

  • TOPIK score is valid for two years. Within the valid period, you have unlimited access to your result online at TOPIK Website where you can check your score and print your report.

  • Your score report will be available in digital version only which can be accessed on a computernot on mobile devices unfortunately.

  • Please note that we do not send you a printed or digital report individually.

  • For technical issues in printing your score report, please contact TOPIK Korean office at topik@korea.kr.
